I liked your entry in the WB guestbook. Even if mrb. is
older than the elephant on your homepage he has deserved our
respect for the literaric heritage he will leave to us. Both
you and B have earned praise from the gay community: mrb.
for writing stories about Kostik that sound as if they could
be true, and you for one of the smartest gay sites I have
ever seen...who would ever have the idea to DRESS nude
models instead of UNDRESSING them...my compliments. And the
story in the August issue of Cody News is really touching. I
always liked this site a lot and will often come back...just
one thing: your Kostik link is out of date but I saw you

can't even drown a limp hamster. To get waves big enough, I
would have to drop a bomb in the ocean, but eventhough I
have
acces to a minor arsenal (being a sargeant), I somehow think

when I was 14-15, but it was military school and this wasn't
the place to come out, then I went to a highly homophobic
all-male school in Virginia, and that wasn't the place to
come out, then one thing led to another and I was suddenly
27 and married. Wish I had a friend like you when I was your

let me be honest with you - I'm not your age - any more. :-(
I am also not a dirty old man looking to mess with kids. I
am gay, out, and do appriciate the beauty of young men (like
who doesn't!). So I look, but don't touch. So with all
respect to you, let me respond to your site and you. Some of
this will be in the spirit of a more experienced gay man to
one less experienced, not less intelligent. I was very taken
by your choice of graphics is wonderful! The flames are a
great symbol for your site's ever rising from its ashes! As
far as I can tell from your site,you are a beautiful man. I
mean that to include YOU as well as your body (which is Very
Fine!). You write well and are clearly well read - guys much
old than you don't know what a phoenix is, much less its
meaning. As for being gay, welcome to the club. While I'm
older than you, I like most of us faced the same challenges
you you are facing. You say you are 'out' to yourself (my
interpetation) and from your site (and boyfriends) you seem
comfortable with it. That's good. I took me several years to
get that far. As for coming out to others, it's can be
tough. There is more acceptance in society in general than
you seem to think, but your scholl, town, and state may be
less receptive. I can't tell you it will be easy, but you
sound like you are smart enough to be patient and choose who
you come out to with care. It will change your life in many
ways each time you come out. I guess you just have to judge
the risk in each case - what can you lose (love, friendship,
a home) and what can you gain (respect, closer frienship,
freedom to be yourself). Just keep in mind that people's
reactions are about THEM, not you and that being gay is not
fundamentally or morally wrong - just different. Cody, I've
gone on too long! You know you are not alone in being gay.
My only solicitation to is that if you shold ever be looking
for someone to talk to you know where to find me and I would
also enjoy a new penpal if you should ever care to write.

surprised the way you wrote about yourself. Like I state

The friend I
used to get to your page was you! You sent me some email
(again) and I enjoy hearing from you when you do write me!
Some of your links are not working correctly. But then, I
suspect you already know that.
You and I have been writing back and forth for quite a while
now. I kinda thought you might be gay, but was never sure
until I read your page after this last update..
I concur with you that things are not very good for gays
now, so I applaud your decision to keep your preferences
somewhat under cover. I hope in time things might change,
but until then, we do not need to have another Matt Shepard
on our hands.
I, in addition to being the CFO for the Irish Wolfhound
Rescue Trust (see my page for a link to it) am a licensed
foster parent and youth crisis counselor.
I try to help young gays and so far, and been pretty
successful in that work. Anyway, if you ever want to talk
man to man with an adult who have been through
it already and has seen and heard just about everything, I
am more than willing to go one on one with you. I have an
800 number, so it won't cost you a penny.
If it sounds interesting, drop me a note and I will send the
number to you.
I don't lecture! I listen, and if you want to try and solve
a problem we can work together on it.
Otherwise, I listen to your hopes, dreams and concerns. If
you want an opinion, I will give one.
But, that choice is yours!

really have enjoyed the trips through the various versions
