I never knew
Cody personally. I some how found his website, in 1999 I
think, and felt a connection to him. I would visit his
website every now and then to read the latest stuff he had
posted. Even now I venture back to this tribute page in
hopes of learning more about Cody.
I was stunned to learn of his death a few months after it
happened. I actually cried when I learned of his death. At
that time I figured his website would soon be lost and his
life, the little I knew of it, would just be a memory in my
mind.
I have heard it expressed that you never know the impact or
effect you will have on someone's life. I think that is so
true and in the case of Cody it is nice to know that he is
still impacting peoples lives in positive ways.
I just finished reading the “Green Room” and I want to say
Thank You to all those involved in making Cody's life live
on. I cried several times while reading “Green Room”.

I have had a
couple of emails this week about Caring for Cody and Cody's
Companions - and people have found the stories on Cody's

I can't stand people who think they have a right to tell
others how to live - or not. But we can all feel that we
have lost someone of great value and be sad for our loss.
Maybe we can find a place in the world where so many people
aren't trying to inflict their delusions on others - far
from the osama ben and george bush types. Far from those who
support the madness now being inflicted upon the world by 'christians'
who will NEVER know Christ and Muslims who crap on the name
of their god. Worse than them are the people around us who

able to be that caring easy going friend sometimes has its
draw backs because people become so dependent on you it's
hard to express yourself to others because of what you stand
for and all.
I always thought that there was something wrong with me
being so caring and easy going and I really thought that I
must be the only person in the world to be like this,
because sometimes I didn’t want to be, but after discovering
that people like you exist, it has been much easier for me
to come to terms with my feelings.
Living in Australia, its much easier to admit who you are
and what you stand for but of course that always isn’t the
way in other countries, so i guess in a way I’m lucky in
that respect.
I know that I can’t really express my true feelings in words
because sometimes it’s just too painful and sad to do so,
but as I’m writing this letter tears come to my eyes every
time I think about you and the people you touched, including
me. I really wish I could have got the chance to know you
even though we live in different countries, I think both
Cody and myself are special people.
Being four years younger than Cody at the time of his death
has made no difference about the way I feel about him
because age isn’t a concern, im just happy to know that you
live on in my heart.

i don't know
how i found the websites with all the stories i haven't even
finished the stories,the two i just read were caring for
cody and cody's companions. before that it was a few of the
cody and tjs.i'm 28 years old five years older than what
he'd be now.i've never read any sex stories really and i've

here. I was in a car accident when I was 6 years old, a
drunk driver hit my daisy scout troup head on; I was in a
coma like state for 3 days and in the hospital another 2

to who ask what happened to Cody, I paste what Gary wrote
here some months ago:
I notice people are still asking how you died. Cody had a
few beers after work with his friends, then hitched a ride
home. He was unfortunate enough to get a ride with a speed
freak, who crashed the car at 160 kph. Both occupants of the
car died - Cody later on the operating table in hospital,
due to horrific injuries. He never regained consciousness.
His ashes were scattered at his local beach about two weeks
later, attended by his dad and best friends, all on
surfboards.

3 years we're all missing you, and your site is now as dead

Steve has decided to stop to try to update it, after trying
twice to upload some news:
he made new pages with his great talent (but that's many
hours of work) for last christmas and then for your
birthday,

Steve's life as a young man has taken a good direction, with

Hiya Steve,
Just ventured in, because I haven't been here in a while and
I just wanted to stop by.
I really wish I had known Cody, like lived near him, or gone
to the same high school. Something. All I have is what he
wrote, and what Gary wrote, and I read all of it so many
times that they now seem like memories.
There's another dude local to my side of the world who
discovered Cody and Gary, Gary told us about him in his news
page. He seems like a cool guy.
I guess I'm just thinking about how many people have found
this site, and how many of them walk away with something new
that they didnt have before they came here. It really is
amazing.
Anyways its now 1:30 in the morning, and like I just told
Gary, I gotta be up at 6, lol, so I gotta go.
